OKI - DEATH AT THE END OF THE ROAD Oki, a twenty-year old Japanese girl, leaves her homeland after the tragic death of her fiancé Hoan. She has almost lost her will to live when she reaches France. She gets hired as an au-pair in a manor full of mysteries where dwells a famous paralyzed mathematician… There, she begins to sense around her some strange goings-on, scary secrets and an increasing danger, surrounding her, getting closer… |
OKI - ONE CORPSE TOO MANY
Oki, the young and pretty Japanese expat living in Paris, has struck a friendship with Lambert, the policeman who saved her during her first adventure upon her arrival in France. But she still cannot come to terms with the death of her boyfriend. This time, she is hired by Césaire Lefort, a very rich businessman and art lover, as a companion for his bedridden wife, Nicette. But if she’s only meant to keep Nicette company, why did she have to undergo so many medical tests beforehand? |
OKI - PREMONITIONS A very hip and famous designer, Pablo Fontane, announcing that the end of the world is nigh, hires Oki as his secretary, as he plans to write yet another volume of memoirs about his prophecies. But Lambert believes his true motives for picking the young girl are darker and more complex than they would seem. Fontane tells Oki he has a message for her – from Hoan, her late fiancé, whom she cannot forget… |
OKI - AN UNDISPUTABLE SUICIDE With an uncanny knack for finding herself involved in some dark conspiracy or chosen as the perfect victim, Oki has survived more than her share of dangers, thanks to her courage and the timely intervention of her policeman 'guardian angel', Lambert. This time she has found a new job as a nanny for a young autistic boy, in an upper-class family. The husband, a French politician, is a brutal, unpleasant, unfaithful man; his deceived wife, an alcoholic. Yet another dysfunctional family… But this time, Oki is on a mission. She has been recruited by the French Internal Affairs to gather information on this shady politician who seems involved in a number of illegal operations… |
OKI - THE GHOST AT THE FAR END OF THE PARK Oki, still working for French Internal Affairs, has been hired by a suspicious character named Tomasini - a Corsican mafioso involved in illegal gambling and games, notably in Africa - to look after his 15-year-old niece, Aurélie, whom he holds prisoner at his castle, in the countryside. Lambert, who keeps courting Oki against all odds, hangs around Tomasini's property, where strange things keep on happening… Oki finds that Aurélie is a shy, perturbed girl who confides in her secret diary all about her darkest fears but also about an alleged romance with an imaginary lover. However, the biggest surprise in store for them all is when this dream lover actually shows up, out of the blue, to avenge her... |
OKI - GUT FEAR Oki has secretly accepted another mission for the French Internal Affairs bureau, against Inspector Lambert's advice: she is to protect a pregnant young woman and take her to a safe house, away from killers who are on her track. When Lambert finds out, he sets out after them to save her... But will he get there on time ? |
